History of football in the United States

Although football is not the sport in the United States, the history of football in the United States is one of the longest round, alongside that of English or Scottish.

After English in a set of rules for the game of football, they were quickly taken to the new world, where the Americans have learned to love the sport, plus another game that has grown strong roots in the States United as baseball. In fact, the American Football Association is the second oldest sports league in America, after the Major League Baseball one.

Of course, the history of football in the United States launch a professional league though (in terms of what we today call professional). American football began in 1884, is a semi-pro league with New England and some parts of the Midwest and it was rather chaotic environment to play soccer, but it has been every year.

Meanwhile, the football organization, the American Amateur Football Association was founded at the same time and two together until 1913, when their merger with the American Football Association, the organization first fully professional football in the history of football in the United States.

American football (or USFA) was one of the first to join FIFA and as such, the United States team in the first World Cup, but the game began to be Outshined by the baseball or basketball.

With football on the rise, the organization has a new name to avoid confusion and to develop U. S. Soccer Football Association. However, the history of U.S. soccer is going to be a new amendment to the pension of that name in 1974 when the USSFA dropped "Football" on the tag and place under the United States Soccer Federation, which is still used today.

Thus, many wonder if the history of football in the United States from the beginning, how is football is not the sport in the United States? Well, the truth is that the relatively modest performance of men in the national side in the early 20th century, combined with the sharp rise in baseball, basketball, football and hockey, that he quickly lost interest in football and because American children have been so many alternatives, football is out of fashion slowly.
